Clan beer and Clan wine

Clan beer

Frankonia Clan Beer is a special Franconian Stout brewed by the Kauzen Bräu private brewery in Ochsenfurt. It was created in collaboration with Clans McEL (Waigolshausen) and Èirinn Caraidean (Leverkusen) to combine Scottish, Irish, and Franconian cultures.

Characteristics of Clan Beer
Brewery: Kauzen Bräu, Ochsenfurt
Style: Franconian Stout (a blend of Franconian dark beer and stout)
Taste: Malty with roasted aromas reminiscent of coffee and subtle whisky notes
Alcohol content: 4.8% vol.

Our beer is available at Getränke Armbruster and at the Irish Pub in Schildgen.

Clan wine

Why Sloe Wine?
Since September 2029, we have had an official „town twinning“ between Schlebusch and Killarney.
Schlebusch’s name derives from the medieval name „Schlehenbusch“ (Sloe Bush), and Killarney (Irish: „Cill Airne“) means „Church of the Sloes“.
